Alison graduated in 1998 from Denfeld High School first in her class and it currently attending Harvard University in Cambridge, MA, majoring in psychology/neurobiology. During her freshman year she was called into duty earlier than expected due to injuries of their junior starting goaltender. During this time, she posted a perfect 11-0 record, including wins in Beanpot Tournament and the National Championship game as well. Harvard ended the season with an impressive 33-1 record, gaining Ivy League, ECAC, and National Champion titles. Alison believes that success is correlated with attitude: beliefs are self-fulfilling prophesies. It's important to set goals and aspire to meet them, however, it's even more important to enjoy the journey along the way. She feels fortunate to have experienced such accomplishments, and achieving goals such as playing Division I hockey and attending one of the most prestigious schools in the country. She has benefited from the experiences every step of the way. With continuous motivation, a positive attitude, and the desire to achieve, dreams, and goals become realities whether it involved hockey or other independent interests. With the determination to achieve, we all feel Alison has a bright future ahead of her. (2000)
